Smooth, glowing skin is easy with this wonderful simple coconut salt scrub. Exfoliate your dry winter skin - without chemicals - and bring back its bright, youthful appearance.

Skincare made simple.

Ingredients:

1 cup organic virgin coconut oil

1 cup organic Pink Himalayan salt

1/4 cup Fractionated Coconut Oil or Jojoba Oil

15 drops of your favourite *essential oil

Essential oils by skin type:

Normal Skin: *Lavender; Geranium; Ylang-Ylang

Dry Skin: Lavender; Geranium; Sandalwood

Oily Skin: Lemon; Lavender; Frankincense

Sensitive Skin: Roman Chamomile; Lavender; Geranium

Mature Skin: Myrrh; Frankincense; Wild Orange

Blemished Skin: Melaleuca; Lavender; Helichrysum

When in doubt, start with Lavender. This essential oil is very versatile, with topical and aromatic applications, and it is well tolerated by most people.

Directions:

Melt coconut oil in microwave or over double boiler.

Once melted, remove from heat.

Add Fractionated Coconut Oil and Pink Himalayan Salt to melted coconut oil.

Stir until combined.

Add essential oils.

Let sit until coconut oil solidifies, stirring every 10 minutes.

Stir until well combined and store in an airtight container for up to 1 month.

To use, rub on skin and rinse with warm water.

Tip: Put in refrigerator to speed up the cooling process.
